This optical quality 12" X 16" mirror sheet has a silicone monoxide coating to prevent corrosion for the serious kaleidoscope hobbyist. This is the same type of mirror used in cameras, telescopes and other optical instruments and is used most often in kaleidoscope projects.

Front Surface Mirror A / 12 1/2 X 16

For the professional kaleidoscope maker, Front Surface Mirror A is more highly reflective and has an enhanced coating on the mirror to prevent corrosion. The reflections fade to blue at the outer edges of the kaleidoscope image, whereas Front Surface Mirror B (which is the most common mirror used for hobbyists) fades to gray at the outer edges of the kaleidoscope image. Available in 12 1/2" X 16" sheet only.

Glass & Magnified Lens Eye Covers

Brass Image Wheel

The Image Wheel requires no foiling or soldering, just a few drops of super glue. Fill the circular chamber with bits of stained glass, beads, glass jewels, etc. and slide it onto the axle of your scope. The Image Wheel can be used as a time-saving accessory with the Aeroscope Kit, Miniscope Kit or Brass Tube.

The Kaleidoscope Kit offers all patterns, instructions and hardware necessary to make the kaleidoscope. Included in the kit is an axle assembly with brass fittings, brass legs and felt footpads. When finished, it is 10" long, with two color wheels that are six inches in diameter and removable for easy cleaning.

The Marblescope Kit uses a marble to generate brilliant images. It is made from three pieces of .05" aluminized front surface mirror, which creates a much sharper and brighter image than ordinary mirror. The kit contains: 3 pre-cut pieces of front surface mirror, 4 marbles, a brass split ring marble holder, felt cushion pads, full size patterns and complete instructions. The Little Scope Kit

The Little Scope Kit helps you make a miniature Marblescope with a big image. Outside, the Little Scope measures only 5/8" in diameter and less than 3" long. Inside, an optical lens and aluminized front surface mirror create an image

The Oil Wand Kit helps you create a kaleidoscope that uses an oil-filled wand to generate amazing
images. Cascades of color and explosions of light appear as the material in the wand flows past the kaleidoscope mirrors. The mirrors are arranged to create an image with 14 radial sections instead of the usual 6. The Axle Pack can be used to mount stained glass wheels onto your kaleidoscope. This axle assembly can also be used with the Image Wheel and the Image Disk. The axle can be soldered or glued into kaleidoscopes made from stained glass, brass, wood, or almost anything. The Axle Pack includes a 1/8" X 3" solid brass axle with threaded end, a polished brass ball nut and 4 wheel -mounting eyelets.
